AIUB and Bangladesh Fencing Federation Signs MOU

The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and the Bangladesh Fencing Federation (BFF) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday, 13th August 2025 at the AIUB Campus.
Through this partnership, AIUB will be the official Education Partner of the Bangladesh Fencing Federation for the next three years, underscoring a shared commitment to fostering the development of sports and education in Bangladesh. The MOU was signed by Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, on behalf of AIUB, and Major Qamrul Islam (Retd.), President of BFF, on behalf of BFF. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB; Prof. Dr. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor, AIUB; Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean-In-Charge, FBA, AIUB; Mr. Kazi Saiful Haque, Treasurer of BFF; Mr. Md Abu Jahid Chowdhury, National Coach of BFF, and Mr. Md. Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB. This collaboration is expected to open new opportunities for student engagement, skill development, and the advancement of fencing in Bangladesh.
