MMC Department Organized “Journeys in Motion: Welcoming Dreams, Celebrating Achievements”

The Department of Media and Mass Communication (MMC) of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully organized an event titled “Journeys in Motion: Welcoming Dreams, Celebrating Achievements” for freshmen and outgoing students. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, deans, and heads of various departments and faculties. On September 4, Prof. Dr. AJM Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan, Advisor of the MMC Department, delivered his address.
He remarked that AIUB is one of the most beautiful private universities in the country and encouraged students to enjoy their university life. Prof. Dr. Tajul Islam, Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), emphasized that university life is full of joy and learning. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman warmly welcomed the new and outgoing students in his address. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam delivered a powerful and inspiring speech, urging students to always strive for self-improvement, study diligently, and build a bright future. Ms. Shania Abedin, a member of the Board of Trustees, also delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the importance of AIUB and motivating students to pursue their aspirations. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Ms. Rani Ellen V. Ramos, Head of the MMC Department. Teachers welcomed the freshmen with flowers and bid farewell to the outgoing students. The entire event was planned and organized by MMC’s senior faculty member, Mr. Niaz Majumdar. On September 9, the celebration culminated in a grand cultural program at the MMC Media Studio, featuring performances by MMC students.
