Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan Appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor of UAP

Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, a distinguished academician and Dean of the School of Pharmacy, has been appointed as the new Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP).
The appointment was officially confirmed through a memo issued by the Ministry of Education on October 20. The nomination received the approval of the Honourable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Chancellor of UAP.
With an illustrious academic and research career spanning over 27 years, Professor Dr. Bhuiyan brings a wealth of expertise in pharmaceutical sciences. He is widely recognized for his contributions to molecular pharmacology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, and curriculum development.
Dr. Bhuiyan earned his PhD in Pharmacy from Niigata University of Pharmacy & Applied Life Sciences in Japan. Prior to that, he completed both his Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Throughout his career, he has remained actively engaged in the global pharmaceutical community. He is a member of the Japanese Pharmacological Society (International), Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society, Pharmacy Graduate Association, and the Dhaka University Pharmacy Alumni Association.
His appointment as Pro-Vice Chancellor marks a new chapter in UAP’s academic leadership. The university community has warmly welcomed the decision, anticipating that his experience and vision will further strengthen UAP’s commitment to excellence in higher education and research.
